The Windmill is a wonderfully cosy pub with rooms in Hollingbourne offering wholesome food and a friendly atmosphere. We’ve been around for a long time too (dating back to 1864).

At The Windmill, Hollingbourne we’re passionate about creating delicious food. We use the best seasonal British ingredients sourced from local farmers to produce our latest autumn menu that has made us one of the best places for dine in Kent.

You’ll find pub classics with a contemporary twist, traditional Sunday lunch and an enticing beer, spirits and wine list. During the colder months we’re renowned for our warm and snuggly ambience, a splendid break after a walk in the glorious Kent countryside. Look out for our seasonal Wine Dinners for something extra special throughout the year.

Maybe stay the night in one of our characterful bedrooms. The perfect home-from-home for a night or an extended weekend getaway. We’re close to Maidstone, Leeds Castle and we’re perfectly place to explore The Garden of England, English vineyards and our very own Balfour Winery near Staplehurst.

We are constantly adding new dishes created from the best in-season ingredients we can get our hands on. In general, our food is classically British in style but what we believe makes us stand out is the attention to detail and delicacy with which our kitchen approaches cooking.

Our wine menu is varied, with selections from the old world, new world, including our own award-winning Balfour wines from our nearby Kentish vineyards. Don’t be afraid to ask for a recommendation to suit your meal.
